Pakistan Defense Day


Directorate of Student Affairs, GCWUF in collaboration with Loyal Warriors of Pakistan celebrated Pakistan Defense Day on September 6, 2023, to pay tribute to the Pakistan Armed Forces. Vice Chancellor GCWUF Professor Dr. Zill-i-Huma Nazli presided over the function. The special guests of the ceremony were Major Taseer Ikram Rana and Mr. Rana Javed Asad, Patron-in-Chief of Loyal Warriors. The guests of honor were renowned trainer, writer and motivational speaker Dr. Muhammad Arif Siddiqui, Balwinder Singh and Kamal Ahmed. Worthy Vice Chancellor saluted the veterans and martyrs of the September 1965 war. The defense of the country is in strong hands. For the bright future of Pakistan, women have to play their active role in the stream of education and development because the education and development of a woman is the guarantee of a bright future of a family. Major Taseer Ikram Rana, while highlighting the role of Pakistan Army in 1965, explained how the Pakistan Army crushed the enemy's intentions in the 1965 war. We have to strengthen the defense of the country together. Special guest Rana Javed Asad declared it necessary to fight bravely on every front for the development of the country. In the 21st century, the methods of warfare have changed. Now along with the borders, you need to be firm about the media war as well. The guest of honor Dr. Muhammad Arif Siddiqui appreciated the services of Pakistan Air Force besides defeating the enemy in the battle of tanks on Chawindah front. The guests of honor Balwinder Singh and Kamal Ahmed from Bank of Punjab presented military and national songs dedicated to the love of the country. Derakhshan Kanwal, Tayyaba Batul and Sana also presented songs. Dr. Asma Aziz, Director Student Affairs thanked the participants.
